Juleny joined Mikva Challenge in May 2018 as the Juvenile Justice Council Manager. She is born and raised in the southwest side of Chicago and began engaging in community work during high school. Juleny received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Loyola University Chicago and completed her Master of Education degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago. As an undergraduate student, she interned for the Cook County Probation Department and the Juvenile Intervention and Support Center. Juleny’s excited to support young people in their growth and development as catalysts for equitable change.
