Karrie is passionate about building bridges between nonprofit communities. At Mikva Challenge she is building community amongst individual donors, connecting them to the mission and the students in order to help create more opportunities for growth. She joined after working for the past eight years in the international non-profit space in Chicago, most recently as the Assistant Director of Major Gifts at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Karrie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University and is enrolled in the Baumhart Scholars MBA program focused on social impact at Loyola University Chicago, with expected graduation of May 2022. In her free time you can find her running Changemaker Chats, a nonprofit focused on highlighting female leaders, volunteering with Upwardly Global and Chicago Debates and reading lots of international fiction!
