Last week, students from 85 schools in Brooklyn made democracy a verb at the Brooklyn SoapboxNYC Preliminary Round! These incredible young leaders took center stage to voice the pressing issues impacting their community, presenting thoughtful and passionate ideas. Students also had the opportunity to connect directly with local community members and policymakers who can help bring their ideas to life.
