The Power Of One – Make A Difference For Chicago’s Youth

This week, we hosted the New Hampshire Youth Voice Summit. Around 70 passionate students from grades 7-12 are coming together at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics to dive deep into the issues they care about. After selecting topics and completing guided prep work, these young leaders will research, discuss, and present their ideas directly to elected representatives, government officials, and community decision-makers.

Our democracy grows stronger when young voices are heard, and we’re proud to provide opportunities for them to practice and shape the future of our communities. Let’s listen, learn, and support the next generation of changemakers.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this election—whether you voted, helped spread the word, or engaged in civic conversations, you played a vital role in our democracy. At Mikva Challenge, we believe in the power of young voices and active citizenship. As we reflect on the election, let’s keep working together to build a just and equitable society where everyone has a voice.
