I volunteered for Ab in 1972 and 1974 campaigns while living in Glencoe. I was a Mikva Messenger with those brown and white shirts! He was truly an extraordinary man and it was a privilege to know him. We happened to live in a 99% Republican neighborhood and it was great to see some people from that neighborhood eventually cross over and vote for him in 1974! He definitely set the standard for what public service is and should be. He makes me proud to be an American!
