Lola is committed to the pursuit of educational equity in the District. Her multifaceted background as a non-profit professional and middle school ELA teacher promoted the power of diversity, student advocacy, and education as the great equalizer. She is thrilled to support school-based communities here at Mikva.
Lola earned her Bachelor’s in English at Boston University and her Master’s in Education at Georgetown University. She also attended Montessori, public, and private schools abroad and stateside! She adores afrobeats and r&b concerts, reading and writing science fiction, exploring museums, cooking, practicing yoga, and spending time with loved ones.
