Lori joined the Mikva Challenge team after a decade working in operations and finance with advocacy and civic engagement organizations in Seattle. She is from the Chicago area originally, and is excited to be back in Chicago to work with Mikva Challenge. She holds a BA in international studies from American University, where she focused on the Middle East and Islamic Studies, and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Washington. During her undergraduate studies, she spent a semester abroad studying Arabic language and culture in Cairo.
