Mark joined Mikva Challenge in 2018 as its data and stewardship coordinator, after several years in the nonprofit sector. As an Air Force ‘brat,’ Mark moved between several states and countries for most of his life before moving to the Midwest for college. After graduating from Knox College with a degree in International Relations, Mark spent 2 years of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA, at locations in Galesburg, IL and Chicago, IL. During that time he gained experience organizing student interest groups, building and running volunteer service programs, implementing systems change, and leveraging data. Mark is passionate about civic engagement and he is excited to continue learning more about and getting more involved in Chicago and the work at Mikva Challenge.
