In 2013, Mia began her work at Mikva Challenge facilitating youth counsels and supporting teachers in Chicago. Now on the National Teacher Based Team, she partners with educators in New York City and facilitates Soapbox Nation. Mia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and loves using her creativity to support young people, teachers and schools in creating opportunities for youth to take authentic, informed action on community issues.
